  • SSA's Players Insurance
  • Players must be Registered and Paid in Full for Player's Insurance 24hrs prior to their game in order to be added to the roster and eligible to play.
  • Having unregistered players participate puts all players and the organization at risk as there is no insurance for any players on the field in this circumstance.
  • Teams that field unregistered players will automatically default the game.  Repeated fielding of unregistered players will result in the team being suspended from the league.

Photo ID:

  • All players are required to provide photo ID prior to each game for the referee to check. A picture of your photo ID on your phone is acceptable. Please pass along this information to all your players.
  • As a league we have implemented an id check policy to ensure that every player is listed on the game sheet and insured. This is a crucial component to ensuring the validity of every participants insurance as participation of unregistered players jeopardizes every participant’s status. The league has asked the referees to undertake these checks as part of their role in the match. In order to ensure fairness to all individuals the referees are asked to check each participants identification so as not to introduce an advantage to those familiar to the referee. The players willing participation with this policy ensures the validity of our league and organization and the safety of our participants.

Performance Bond: $200.00

  • All new teams must pay a performance bond ($200) or returning teams must refill any outstanding balance from the previous season, before registration will be accepted. If your team had another forfeits from the previous season, you would have received an email with the amount owing.  Performance Bonds carry over from season to season
  • Teams that do not notify the Administrator and the opposing team and receive an acknowledgement from the Administrator twenty four (24) hours prior to a game they are unable to play will result in a defaulted game and /or a fine.  A team that does not field a team and gives no notice will be fined $50.00 off their team performance bond.
  • Once a team has used up their performance bond - $200 (4 games x $50) teams have until the next game to pay the bond in full or they will be removed from the schedule. Teams have the option to pay up their bond each time a forfeit occurs or also when the bond is used up.
  • Forfeits:

    1. Games need to be cancelled with 24hrs in advance to myself, not the other team captain.
    2. Teams need to field a minimum of 6 players for outdoor (8 vs 8) and 4 players for indoor (6 vs 6).

Equipment Bond: $155.00 - Outdoor Season ONLY

  • Each team is required to pay a Equipment Bond, which will be good for the outdoor season. The Equipment Bond will be $155 which covers the cost of the ball ($80) and the 3 Corner Flags ($75).
  • The Equipment Bond can be paid via post dated cheque, cash or E-transfer. The equipment will be collected from teams at the end of the season and stored by LDSA. If equipment is lost, stolen or damaged it will come out of that bond.
  • This will be separate from the Performance Bond. The Equipment Bond will be given back at the end of each season, once the equipment has been returned. We will do this each outdoor season. If an item is not returned or is returned damaged this fee will be taken off of the Equipment Bond.
